SOLUTION

Solution:
1).C)  Boys = 650000 × (18/100) × (58/100) = 67860

2). B)  Diff = 650000 × (20/100) × [(63-37)]/100
= 65×20×26 = 33800

3). D) Ratio =[ 650000 × (18/100) × (42/100)] / [650000 × (24/100) × (45/100)]
= (18×42)/(24×45) = 7/10

4). B)  FB = 650000× (21/100) × (52/100) = 70980
Req % = (70980/650000) × 100 = 10.92%

5). A)  Total Girls
 = 650000 /(100 × 100)
× [(20 ×37) + (18 ×42) + (24 ×45) + (9 ×51) + (8 ×53) + (21 ×48)]
= 65× (740+756+1080+459+424+1008) = 65×4467
= 290355

6). D)  150×.65 + 120×.75 + 50×.7 + 50×.54 + 63 + 200×.57
=  97.5 + 90 + 35 + 27 + 63 + 114 = 426.5

7). C)  Avg. = [120/(100 × 5)] (65 + 50 +75 + 55+ 40) = (1.2/5) ×285
= 1.2 × 57 = 68.4

8). B)  CT = 100× (63/100) = 63,  Dp = 150 × (48/100) = 72

9). D)  Av = 200×(49.5/ 100) = 99,  BQ = 120×(50/100) = 72
Req. % = [(99 – 60)/60] × 100 = (3900/60) = 65%

10). B)  E Total = 150×.56 + 120×.4 + 50×.48 + 50×.46 + 53 + 200×.525
= 84 + 48 + 24 + 23 + 53 + 105 = 337
Total marks = 150 + 120 +50 +50 + 100 + 200 = 670

Req. % =(337/670) × 100 = 50.298 = 50.3 %
