1). Subliminal (Adj)
Synonyms: Subconscious, unconscious, hidden, concealed  
Antonyms: Explicit
Definition: (of a stimulus or mental process) below the threshold of sensation or consciousness; perceived by or affecting someone's mind without their being aware of it.
Usage: The screen flashed subliminal messages.

2). Abjure (Verb)
Synonyms: Renounce, relinquish, reject, dispense with
Antonyms: desire, adhere
Definition: solemnly renounce (a belief, cause, or claim).
Usage: MPs were urged to abjure their Jacobite allegiance.

3). Prowess (Noun)
Synonyms: Skill, expertise, mastery, ability
Antonyms: inability, ineptitude
Definition: skill or expertise in a particular activity or field.
Usage: His prowess as a fisherman.

4). Mutilate (Verb)
Synonyms: Mangle, maim, disfigure, cut up
Antonyms: heal, rehabilitate, remedy
Definition: inflict a violent and disfiguring injury on.
Usage: Most of the prisoners had been mutilated.

5). Moribund (Adj)

Definition: (of a person) at the point of death.
Usage: On examination she was moribund and dehydrated.

6). Nomad (Adj)

Definition: a member of a people that travels from place to place to find fresh pasture for its animals and has no permanent home.
Usage: The withering of their grasslands forced the nomads of the Sahara to descend into the Nile valley.

Definition: impossible to subdue or defeat.
Usage: These indomitable warriors have never been subjugated by an invading force.

Definition: formally accuse of or charge with a crime.  
Usage: His former manager was indicted for fraud.

9). Vitriolic (Adj)

Definition: filled with bitter criticism or malice.
Usage: He launched a vitriolic attack on the government.

10). Hurl (Verb)
Synonyms: throw, toss, fling, pitch, cast
Antonyms: catch, hold
Definition: throw or impel (someone or something) with great force.
Usage: Rioters hurled a brick through the windscreen of a car.
